  • 2 basa fillets
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, sliced
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 lemon, quartered
  • 1 handful fresh coriander


  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 200C.
  • Step 2
    Mix butter, garlic, salt and pepper in baking dish. Add fillets and turn to coat both sides. Cover pan with foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Remove fish from oven and turn off heat. Squeeze juice from 1/2 lemon over both fillets and sprinkle coriander. Cover with foil and place in oven for 5-10 minutes until fish is flakey.
  • Step 4
    Serve with remaining lemon quarters, steamed veggies or potato salad. Drizzle pan juices over veggies and fish.
